The Insect Discovery Lab

"I don't like to call insects primitive or simple because what goes on in their lives
is actually very complex and their evolution is very complex."

Entomologists Norm Gershenz and Leslie Saul of the Center for Ecosystem Survival at San Francisco State University brought the Insect Discovery Lab to "But Seriously..." and I got to meet some of their multi-legged friends. They take these critters to schools as part of their mission to educate the public about the need for habitat protection. It's also a lot of fun to watch them finish each other's sentences and truly communicate as a team.
